Baseball . . . The Rocky Mountain Way

vbc02"The camp allows us the chance to give young people an opportunity to gain the skills, knowledge, and understanding to become successful ballplayers and individuals at the next level in their lives."

2008 Victory Baseball Series
July 5–13th, 2008

The Victory Baseball Camp offers a unique experience. Each day begins with the players attending a skill/class development session under the evergreens with a clear view of the snow covered peaks of Mt. Evans, Colorado. Here are just a few of the highlights of a typical camp.

  • Competitive Games
  • 9 Days of Skill Development
  • Sightseeing Tours
  • And so much more!

vbc01This truly is a “working camp." For nine days the players eat sleep and live baseball. The afternoons are filled with games that are designed around the working camp philosophy. These games put an emphasis on skill development. All players receive equal playing time. Games are scheduled with clubs up and down the Front Range from Cheyenne, Wyoming to Colorado Springs and deep into the heart of the Rockies in beautiful Glenwood Springs.

vbc03Although baseball is the focal point of this camp there is a variety of other activities for campers to enjoy; sightseeing the Denver area, Continental divide (elevation 11,900 ft.), USA Olympic Training Center, Mt. Evans—home to the highest paved road in North America, US Air Force Academy, University of Colorado, Coors Field, Red Rocks Amphitheater and much, much, more. Players also have a day off where they can choose from a variety of activities that include; mountain golf, Pikes Peak Cog Railway and trout fishing.

vbc04The founder of the Victory Baseball Camp is legendary baseball coach George Kirchgassner. Currently coaching at Freedom High School in Orlando, Florida, his career victories are approaching over 600. Coach Kirchgassner was the original architect of Americas first and most prestigious high school invitational ever, “The Colonial Classic.”

With the assistance of two of America's finest coaches, Marc Johnson of Cherry Creek, Colorado and Terry Hensley of Evergreen, Colorado, Coach Kirchgassner has put together a “once in a lifetime” baseball camp for the high school aged player and his family. Check out the About Us and Registration pages for more details.
